Effective and Practical

Good lighting design incorporates both task lighting and decorative lighting. We all need to be able to see properly to chop vegetables, brush our teeth and read a newspaper. By carefully considering the use of a room, the lighting can be designed to be both attractive and useful.

Divide and Conquer

Open plan spaces can be ‘divided’ using lighting to mark the distinction between areas and for different activities. Rather than grappling with a bank of buzzing dimmers knobs, pressing a button will set all the lights at suitable levels for cooking, entertaining or watching TV.

Thinking outside the house

Garden lighting isn’t just for the summer months. Dramatic exterior lighting can highlight trees and other features so they can be enjoyed from inside the house as well.
