The Entrance Hallway is an ideal position for a touch screen controller. When you return home you can immediately set the lighting throughout the house just so and start some music playing.


  From here you can close curtains, adjust the heating settings and monitor the entire house. 

  The touch screen also acts as your door entry system where you can see instantly who is at your door or gate.  In fact you can monitor any of the cameras around the house on this screen.

  Because all the cameras record digitally you can check any activity around the house whilst you've been away. 

  When you leave the house the touch screen allows you to turn off any unnecessary lighting and heating, and entertainment and the simulate occupancy. 

Real World Example: Kensington Town House.  Touch screens are used throughout this seven storey property to act as the door entry system.  This does away with separate door entry phones and allows control of the house from every floor.
