About us Simon
Scotland
Simon has a first class degree in computer science from Warwick University. He did some techie stuff at Jaguar Cars before leaving to make
feature films. From Leon the Pig Farmer which won numerous art house
awards in 1992 to Sexy Beast in 1999 Simon made 10 feature
films.
Tired of the travelling, and wanting to get back to his technical
roots Simon saw the opportunity to combine creative and
technical skills in this industry and started Beyond the
Invisible. Simon is a CEDIA certified designer. Jane Scotland
Jane has a first class degree in mechanical engineering from Birmingham University.
Jane started her career at Procter & Gamble, running shifts on soap lines, then becoming the department engineer. She moved to the software industry and spent 9 years selling highly sophisticated software solutions to large multi-national companies. She has worked on multi-million pound software implementations in the UK, Italy and Spain for companies such as Telecom Italia, Cap Gemini and
NTL.
Jane left the software business to found Beyond the Invisible Ltd with Simon.
William Walsh
William has a first in Computer Science from
Southampton University (notice a pattern?). After
graduating from University he worked in a support
role at a major London software house, during
which time he learnt to enjoy wearing a suit. He
joined the Beyond The Invisible in October 2003
and performs technical miracles on a daily basis.
Has rapidly become a noted Crestron programmer and is a CEDIA
certified designer. In his spare time, he likes to think that he can
skate.
